The basketball season is coming down the stretch as teams battle to reach Wells Fargo here in Iowa and compete for state titles and with that brings the start of the 7v7 football season at various levels. The TNT teams based out of Sioux City and coached by Troy Steensen and staff will take the field this Saturday in Sioux Center at the American State Bank Sports Complex.
The 7v7 season allows kids to continue to develop their fundamentals and skill set in the off-season. The TNT Football Academy will have ten teams competing and that results in (95) Siouxland athletes featured in the two day tournament. You can watch the (17-Under) Elite team along with (15-Under) and (12-Under).
TNT Football Names 2 Know!
Kasen Thomas (Bishop Heelan): 6-2 (210) Heavily recruited athlete and two time all-state honoree. Can play multiple positions on offense and defense. It appears Thomas is set to perform on the defensive side of the ball at the next level. Holds offers from eight different power conference schools including Arizona, Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State and Kansas State to name a few.
Jaxx DeJean (OABCIG): 6-4 (220) talented athlete entering his junior season. DeJean is a multiple sport athlete that stands out on the football field, basketball court or baseball diamond. DeJean has offers from schools such as Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan and UAB. I believe DeJean's future is at TE and he has the capability of being elite.

Cal Jepsen QB (SC East) 5-10 (175) Set to start at QB for 3rd consecutive season. Passed for (2,373) yards and (24) touchdowns as a junior. Talented baseball prospect and multi sport athlete.
Kason Clayborne S/TE (SC East) 6-3 (210) Talented junior athlete set to start for third straight season on varsity. Clayborne has played an incredible amount of snaps through his first two varsity seasons. Clayborne has a high football IQ and his instincts are impressive. Talented baseball prospect as well.
