Welcome to Super Bowl week! I have started working on my 2025 HS Football Preview Magazine that will cover NW Iowa, Central Iowa and Eastern Iowa. Each Friday beginning 2/14 I intend to feature 4-5 players on their success from previous seasons and what production might look like in 2025. I will also have updated recruiting information when available. My excellent podcast partner Mitch McCumber will be in on this project and we will be debuting a brand new podcast platform very soon!
I want to start by wishing Philadelphia Eagles CB Cooper DeJean happy birthday this Sunday! To top it off, he will be working this Sunday in New Orleans to hopefully take home a ring and cap off an unbelievable rookie season as he squares off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX! Octane football company will be releasing Cooper DeJean youth football camp information at some point this month with details for both locations in Iowa City and Philadelphia coming this spring/summer!
I am also excited to be working with current College football players and former CLGLR alums Zach Lutmer (Iowa), Reece VanDerZee (Iowa), Rex Van Wyhe (Kansas State) and Graham Eben (South Dakota State) to put together a youth football camp for a pending date and time this May in Rock Rapids. Once we solidify dates and times a news release will be sent out to news outlets and schools throughout NW Iowa. Much to look forward to!
